Develop a Professional Development Workshop for Teachers

We invite professional composers to design a workshop in your area of expertise that coaches music teachers on how to teach their students a particular subject matter or achieve a particular learning outcome in the discipline of contemporary music composition. Our aspiration for the workshop is to help the teacher engage their teenage students in the discovery of concepts, techniques, and skills underlying a wide array of contemporary music composition, introduce students to career opportunities in the music-creating industry and encourage students to create.

Our Endorsement

Our endorsement of your workshop provides assurance to music educators that your workshop has been vetted and is well suited for an educational environment and that it follows national music education standards. Approved workshops are endorsed by CSIC and added to the CSIC workshop catalog.
